St Paul's Church
St Paul’s Thuxton is one of the oldest of the churches in the Group, with evidence of Saxon origin. It was rebuilt by the Normans in the 12th century. One of the items found in the ancient deserted part of the village, Turstantuna, was a cruciform brooch, giving evidence of Christianity in the area going back over a thousand years.
